Join, Cassaundra, in this fun Yoga Session, perfect for beginners and even veteran yogis who have difficulties in keeping their balance during poses.
What causes weak balance?
Balance Disorders, issues in the spine or legs, medications, ear infection, a head injury, or anything else that affects the inner ear or brain. Low blood pressure can lead to dizziness when you stand up too quickly, even someone frequently ungrounded.
Yoga does an excellent job of strengthening and stretching muscles essential for balance, with the ability to stand in one spot without swaying, and then dynamic balance, with the ability to anticipate and react to changes as you move. Grab your mat, a chair, and yoga blocks if you have them, to help stabilize you.
Cassaundra looks forward to having you in class.
All LiL classes are recorded so don't worry if you missed a live class, simply register at your convenience and watch the class on demand as many times as you want.
*Not all exercises are suitable for everyone and this or any other exercise program may result in injury. Always consult your Doctor/Medical Practitioner before beginning any exercise program, especially if you have any chronic or recurring condition.
