6-week Online Course on Yoga Philosophy, emphasizing the Yamas and Niyamas from the Yoga Sutras and the Bhagavad Gita.
You must attend four out of the six live sessions to receive a certification.
Sessions will be held on Mondays at 7 pm EST.
Here's what we'll cover in the course:
Session One: What is Yoga Philosophy? What is the "Yoga Sutras of Patanjali?" What is the "Bhagavad Gita?"
Session Two: Is yoga a religion? I'm a Christian; how do I deal with my inner conflict by studying yoga? Can the study of yoga philosophy help me grow spiritually?
Session Three: What are the Eight Limbs of Yoga? What are the Yamas and Niyamas?
Session Four: How can yoga philosophy strengthen my practice? How to apply it to daily life?
Session Five: What are the other books on yoga philosophy? Where's a good place to start to learn more about Yoga Philosophy?
Session Six: What is the sister science to yoga? What is Ayurveda?
